Your voice matters. Will you share your story?
As we advocate for strong vaccine policies in Florida, we're inviting you to share your story with us about why vaccines are important to you, your family, and your community. Whatever your connection to this issue, your perspective is valuable. Your story helps paint a detailed picture of what's at stake when we talk about public health policy. And we're here to help you share it in whatever way feels right for you.
You don't need to be a wordsmith, viral influencer, or a policy expert. What matters is your experience: the real, everyday impact this will have on your family and the people you love. Your story will not be shared outside of Florida Families for Vaccines leadership without your guidance and permission. We'll work with you to amplify your voice in ways that feel comfortable and effective for you—whether that's in an email to your legislator, a letter to the editor, on social media, or in testimony at the Capitol.
8 in 10 Floridians support keeping our vaccine protections in place. This is about making sure the quiet majority isn't drowned out by the noise. Your experience matters. Your family matters. And together, we can make sure our community's voices are heard.
If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail us at info@FLfamiliesforvaccines.org.
Here are just a few examples of stories that can help lawmakers understand what's at stake:
Parents and caregivers of those who are immunocompromised—whether due to cancer treatment, organ transplants, primary immunodeficiencies, or other conditions that weaken the immune system
Families who have experienced a vaccine-preventable disease like measles, whooping cough, or chickenpox
Pregnant individuals concerned about exposure to diseases with devastating pregnancy consequences
Teachers, childcare providers, or healthcare workers who serve vulnerable populations
Anyone who understands how community immunity protects the people we love most
